at Mark Twain State Park
Si Colborn Group Camp is located in a remote area of the park to allow your group the opportunity to interact in a quiet, relaxing setting. The group camp handles a maximum of 75 people and a minimum of 35. It can be reserved for a variety of nonprofit youth groups, family reunions, weddings and other approved organizations. Reservations must be made in advance; applications may be obtained by clicking on the "Group Camp Application" link to the right or by calling 573-248-9980.
Mark Twain State Park is located at Mark Twain Lake in northeast Missouri, which gives group members the opportunity to enjoy activities in the state park, such as swimming, boating, fishing, hiking or a visit to the Mark Twain Birthplace State Historic Site. There are also activities around the lake area groups can enjoy, such as hiking/biking/equestrian trails, golfing, antique shops and more.
The group camp is located in a wooded setting with open areas, has four sleeping cabins, a group camp office with staff quarters, a dining hall/kitchen, modern central restrooms/showers and a lighted/paved play court, and is ADA accessible.
The sleeping cabins have electricity, heat and ceiling fans and will each sleep a maximum of 17 people.
The group camp office has six single sleeping rooms, modern bathroom facilities and office areas.
The dining hall/kitchen is air-conditioned and has a fully functional kitchen with commercial ranges, refrigerators, freezers, convection ovens, a dishwasher, a mixer, a food warmer, etc. It also has pots, pans, dishes, glasses and utensils. A coffee maker and a microwave are available. The dining area has tables and chairs. There are also bathroom facilities located in the building.
