Visitor Contact Station/Park Office
Located just inside the main entrance, the park office welcomes you with a paved, accessible parking space and a concrete pathway leading to the office entrance. Inside is a spacious lobby with area information, a water fountain and helpful staff.
Shelter Area
Just past the office is a large timber open shelter that can accommodate approximately 100 people. There are two group grills, two electrical outlets, lights, ceiling fans and two extended-end tables. The shelter is served by an asphalt parking lot with two accessible spaces. The lot is mostly level. Off one end, a short concrete path leads to a social ring. Here, friends may gather to share a fire and fellowship. Out the other end of the shelter, a path leads past an accessible water fountain to a restroom. The restroom has been modified for use of all visitors. An information board is in the area. Two accessible parking spaces are available for the restroom.
Picnic Area
Our newly renovated day-use area is open and offers two accessible picnic sites, one sunny and one shady. A scenic paved pathway winds around the area for those who wish to take in the sights. Plentiful, level paved parking is available. An accessible restroom is located above the day-use area.
Boat Launch
The boat launch is located just behind the day-use area and has two courtesy docks. Paved accessible parking is available in the lower parking lot. An accessible vault toilet is located near the lower parking lot for convenience.
Campgrounds
Camping is divided into two campgrounds composed of 73 electric, 43 basic, five family and 41 sewer/electric/water sites.
- In Campground 1, there are three electric and one sewer/electric/water sites available for the mobility impaired. Showerhouse 1 and its laundry facility, located in Campground 1, is accessible. Showerhouse 2 on the other end of Campground 1 is currently not accessible. The water hydrants have not been modified at this time. Although the dump station has been modified, some users may require assistance.
- Campground 2 has undergone some improvements in its amenities, there are two accessible electric/water/sewer sites and Showerhouse 3 and its laundry facility is accessible, as well as Restroom 2 and dump station. Both have accessible water fountains and hydrants.
Amphitheater
The amphitheater is located across the main park road from Campground 1. Paved parking offers one accessible space in a mostly level lot. A hardened path of packed fine gravel winds up a slope to the theater. Some users may need assistance as the first 20 feet of the path slightly exceeds 5%. The theater has a base of wood chips with space for wheelchairs.
Marina
The full-service marina offers a beautiful new store complete with wide paved pathways with handrails and a roomy interior. Management has asked that customers request assistance for items they cannot reach. The store is served by two reserved parking spaces and a ramp. Slope conditions will vary due to lake level fluctuations and some users may need assistance. Long-term slip rentals and overnight boat accommodations may be reserved. Restroom facilities for the marina area are located to one side of the parking lot. This new restroom has an accessible parking space, paved pathways, an information board and a water fountain.
