Join Missouri Mines State Historic Site staff as we start off the new year with a First Day Hike on the site’s interpretive trail. This easy 1-mile hike will include interpretation of old mining structures and equipment and of area development over time.
The interpretive trail features a mix of surfaces. The majority is gravel, but there are also paved sections. Portions of the trail have steep slopes.
This event is free, open to the public, and suitable for all ages. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash. Participants are encouraged to bring water and snacks.
