Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park Closed for Managed Deer Hunt Nov. 6-8, 2026

Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park will be closed from 6 p.m. on Nov. 5, 2026, until 7 a.m. on Nov. 9, 2026, due to a managed deer hunt at the park. Only registered hunters and people working the event will be allowed in the park. Camping will be unavailable from Nov. 5, 2026, through Nov. 8, 2026. This includes special-use camping and organized group camping.

        Generations of Missourians have passed through Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park's massive stone gateway for cookouts and family get-togethers or to spend time with friends.
