2019 Guided Hikes

at Missouri State Parks

Do you like to hike, but don't have anybody willing to tag along with you? Or, would you like to take in a little cultural or natural history while you get some exercise on a park trail?  Many state parks offer guided hikes throughout the year. Below are some of the opportunities that await you in 2019! Click on the hike to see more details of each adventure. Some hikes may require advance reservations.

Oct. 26 Fall Hike on Redbud Trail Crowder State Park, Trenton 10 a.m.
Oct. 26 Fall Lake Hike Annie and Abel Van Meter State Park, Miami 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Oct. 26 Night Hike Wallace State Park, Cameron 7 p.m.
Nov. 2 Bison Hike Prairie State Park, Mindenmines 10 a.m. - Noon and 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.
Nov. 17 National Take a Hike Day Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park, Wildwood 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Dec. 7 Bison Hike Prairie State Park, Mindenmines 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.

*The Prowl at the Park event lasts from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Night hikes will begin at 6:30 p.m., 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and last 30 minutes each.
