Guided Bike Ride on the Katy Trail

Enjoy a bike ride on the Katy Trail and the Rock Island Spur, guided by the park superintendent on Saturday, June 4, to celebrate National Trails Day.

Participants in this event will meet park staff at 2 p.m. at the Windsor trailhead, located at mile marker 248 (38° 32' 9.1788" N, 93° 31' 28.8012" W) in Windsor, Missouri.

Important Notes:

  • Each participant is required to wear a bicycle helmet and bring a bike.
  • NO bicycles will be provided.
  • Participants are highly encouraged to wear closed-toe shoes and bring sunscreen and personal drinking water.

The event will start with a presentation from park staff about basic bicycle safety. Following this presentation, the ride will begin. The distance covered on the out-and-back ride will be determined by the riders, but the total program is expected to last about two hours.
