Enjoy the sunset as you hike around Buteo Lake on Knob Noster State Park's Buteo trail. This 1-mile hike is expected to last one hour, 30 minutes. Hikers will encounter dirt-surface trail with water crossings, rocks, stone steps and a brief on-the-road route. This hike is good for all ages. Children and leashed four-legged friends are welcome.
Please dress for the weather, and bring water and a snack. Hikers are welcome to bring regular and red-light flashlights for this sunset hike. Meet at the Buteo Trailhead by the kayak hut and Buteo Picnic Shelter at 8:30 p.m. to begin the hike.
Hike Time: 8:30 p.m. - 10 p.m.
