Summer is almost here, and the prairie is gorgeous! Wildflowers and birds abound. Bison and their calves are moving about and exploring. Come out to Prairie State Park on June 6 for a guided bison hike.
Be prepared for a 2-mile hike over uneven terrain. Bringing water, snacks, a hat and sunscreen, and wearing sturdy shoes is recommended. Binoculars will be useful for looking at bison as well as other wildlife that we may see. Dress for the weather, and don't forget your cameras!
