Join park staff for the Total Solar Eclipse of 2017 and the park’s open house. Events will take place at the River Hills Visitor Center and in the monument field.
- 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. - Open House
- 10 a.m. – Noon - Human Sundial
- 11 a.m. -11:30 a.m. - All American Eclipse Program
- 11:30a.m. - Viewing of Eclipse
The partial eclipse will start at 11:49 a.m. and total eclipse will occur at approximately 1:16 p.m. and end at 1:18 p.m. The total eclipse will last about two minutes. The park will have eclipse viewers available for sale for $1.
