Annual Public Meeting and CDP Open House

The public is invited to attend a public meeting at Harry S Truman State Park on Friday, May 2, at 7 p.m. The event will take place at the park's amphitheater and will feature a town hall-style public meeting meeting and a conceptual development plan open house.

The town hall meeting is part of Missouri State Parks' annual public meetings initiative. These meetings are held are for all state parks and historic sites and help create two-way communication with the public. Representatives from Missouri State Parks will be on hand to provide information about the park and answer questions. The public is encouraged to share comments about the park and its operations.

The open house is being held as part of Harry S Truman State Park's conceptual development planning process. As the long-range plan for the park is updated, the public is encouraged to come learn more about the planning process, ask questions, and provide input regarding future park use and development. A 30-day comment period will begin on May 2, with a survey available online at mostateparks.com/CDP.
