Blue Star Museums Program

at Missouri State Parks

Missouri State Parks is proud to be a part of the Blue Star Museums Program, which offers free admission to the nation's active-duty personnel, including the National Guard and Reserves, and their families.
 
This program is a collaborative effort of the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense and more than 2,000 museums across the U.S.
 
Those currently serving in the United States Military and their families receive free admission to museums and historic sites that are part of the Missouri State Parks system by showing their military ID. The 2023 Blue Star Museums program begins on Armed Forces Day – Saturday, May 20 – and ends on Labor Day – Monday, Sept. 4.
 
The following state parks and historic sites are participating in the program in 2023:

Battle of Athens State Historic Site, Revere Thomas Hart Benton Home and Studio State Historic Site, Kansas City Nathan and Olive Boone Homestead State Historic Site, Ash Grove
First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site, St. Charles Hunter-Dawson State Historic Site, New Madrid Scott Joplin House, St. Louis
Knob Noster State Park, Knob Noster Mastodon State Historic Site, Imperial Missouri State Museum, Jefferson City
Trail of Tears State Park, Jackson Felix Vallé House State Historic Site, Ste. Genevieve Watkins Woolen Mill State Park and State Historic Site, Lawson
