Blue Star Museums Program

at Missouri State Parks

Missouri State Parks is proud to be a part of the Blue Star Museums Program, which offers free admission to the nation's active-duty personnel, including the National Guard and Reserves, and their families.
 
This program is a collaborative effort of the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense and more than 2,000 museums across the U.S.
 
Those currently serving in the United States Military and their families receive free admission to museums and historic sites that are part of the Missouri State Parks system by showing their military ID. The 2024 Blue Star Museums program begins on Armed Forces Day – Saturday, May 18 – and ends on Labor Day – Monday, Sept. 2.
 
The following state parks and historic sites are participating in the program in 2024:

Battle of Athens State Historic Site, Revere Deutschheim State Historic Site, Hermann Mastodon State Historic Site, Imperial
Battle of Lexington State Historic Site, Lexington First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site, St. Charles Missouri Mines State Historic Site, Park Hills
Thomas Hart Benton Home and Studio State Historic Site, Kansas City Hunter-Dawson State Historic Site, New Madrid Missouri State Museum, Jefferson City
Bollinger Mill State Historic Site, Burfordville Jefferson Landing State Historic Site, Jefferson City Felix Vallé House State Historic Site, Ste. Genevieve
Nathan and Olive Boone Homestead State Historic Site, Ash Grove Scott Joplin House State Historic Site, St. Louis  
Confederate Memorial State Historic Site, Higginsville Knob Noster State Park, Knob Noster
