Picnic Shelters

Get your family or a group of friends together under one of the park's three picnic shelters. Occupancy is 75 people per shelter.

  • Shelter #1 is in the day-use area and can be reserved for $50 per day. It is available for use and reservation year round. This shelter is accessible to people with disabilities.
  • Shelters #2 and #3 are north of the Big Creek bridge and can be reserved for $45 per day and are available May 15 through Oct 31. Both shelters are accessible to people with disabilities, however the vault toilet near shelter 2 is not accessible.

Shelter Reservations

To reserve a shelter, contact the park to check for availability by calling 573-856-4411. If a shelter is available, fill out the Shelter Reservation Application and mail it to the park for approval. Submission of this application does not guarantee reservation of the shelter.

Playground

There is a playground located at the day-use area.
