Museum After Hours: 100 Years of Missouri State Parks

3/1/2017 | Missouri State Museum | Jefferson City, MO

Missouri State Parks is celebrating 100 years! The park system was officially established on April 9, 1917. Since then, the system has grown to include 88 parks and historic sites. The parks preserve and interpret some of Missouri's most outstanding natural and cultural resources for citizens and visitors to enjoy. Discover the history of the park system and what it has to offer you today. The program will be held in the Missouri State Museum's History Hall, located in the east wing of the Missouri Capitol.

The program continues the museum's ongoing series, "Museum After Hours," held the first Wednesday of each month. In addition to the program, the museum's galleries will be open until 9 p.m.
