10/10/2015 | Washington State Park | De Soto, MO
The day will begin with a craft fair featuring local Missouri artisans and crafters in the Big River Shelter in the park’s day-use area. Homemade food and crafts will be available for purchase. Hay rides will also be among the fun activities planned for this event. Musical entertainment will be offered during the craft fair. Campers are encouraged to participate in an evening of early trick-or-treating activities in the campground. This program is free to our visitors and will surely be enjoyable for the entire family.
The park will also hold an open house meeting in conjunction with the festival. Park staff will be on hand at the welcome tent to provide information on future plans for the facility and answer questions. Visitors are invited to share feedback and suggestions about services and operations. This informational meeting is part of an ongoing effort by Missouri State Parks to ensure citizens have input regarding the facilities and services offered in state parks and historic sites.
