First Day Hike

1/1/2025 | Lake of the Ozarks State Park | Brumley, MO

Join us for a 2-mile guided hike on Rocky Top Trail. Rocky Top Trail climbs to one the largest glades in the park and passes through native Ozark woodlands of white oaks, bluestem grass and asters. It then crosses through a ravine and reaches a rich north-facing slope that gives way to dolomite cliffs overlooking the Lake of the Ozarks. The trail consists of natural surfaces and is considered moderately difficult. It should take us about one and a half hours to complete the hike.

This event is free, open to the public, and suitable for all ages. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash of 10 feet or less. Participants are encouraged to bring water and snacks and dress for the weather.
