Bring the family camping and enjoy the park's Halloween campout on Saturday, Oct. 26. This event will consist of a campsite decorating contest and trick-or-treating in the campground.
The event is primarily for registered campers, although day-use visitors are welcome to view the decorations and participate in trick-or-treating. The event itself is free, but regular camping fees apply. Camping reservations can be made by calling 877-422-6766 or online.
Event Schedule:
6 p.m. – Trick-or-treating in the campground and judging of campsite decorations
Campers are encouraged to transform their campsites before 6 p.m. with lights and decorations for the Halloween campsite decorating contest. Contest participants are asked to keep decorations family-friendly and safe for people and wildlife, and campers are expected to bring candy for trick-or-treaters.
7:30 p.m. – Announcement of winners
The winners of the campsite decorating contest will be announced at the amphitheater at 7:30 p.m. Prizes will be given for the top three sites.
