Relax or enjoy a picnic lunch in the historic site's small picnic area, which has four tables available.

Picnic Shelter

A picnic shelter, which accommodates 50 people, can be reserved for $40. It has electricity with water and restrooms nearby. If not reserved, it is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

To reserve the shelter or check for availability, visit our reservation page* or contact the historic site at 417-751-3266.

*Shelters can be reserved online from 30 days to 12 months in advance of the day of use. Reservations for arrival dates less than 30 days out can be made only by contacting the park.
