Special-Use Area

at Arrow Rock State Historic Site

The special-use camping area is designated for group camping, with nonprofit organizations and youth groups having priority. The area offers campers four picnic tables, three fire pits, and a large area to set up multiple tents. Restrooms and a water hydrant are approximately 250 yards away. Camping capacity is 75 campers. 

To reserve the area for your group, call 660-837-3330. The fee for use of the area is $2 per person, per night.

On the following days (actual or observed), staff will not be available and site buildings will be closed: Thanksgiving Day; Nov. 29, 2024; Christmas Eve; Christmas Day; New Year’s Eve; New Year’s Day; Martin Luther King Jr. Day; Lincoln’s Birthday; and Presidents Day.
