August is National Fishing Month! Each Friday of the month, visitors will get to enjoy fish-related crafts and other activities at the nature center.
Indoor activities will include a beginner fishing game for children pre-K to second grade that allows participants to learn the enjoyment of fishing while earning prizes. Outside the nature center, visitors will have the opportunity to explore a fish identification maze.
All activities are free and open to the public.
