Landing After Hours: Gateway to the Stars – Missouri’s Contributions to Space Exploration

Missouri has long been known as the Gateway to the West, but did you know that even after the end of westward expansion, Missouri still serves a role as a gateway? Join Lucas Schwartze, Missouri State Museum interpreter, as he discusses Missouri’s contributions to space exploration in the past, present and future.

The Missouri State Museum's "Landing After Hours" program is held the first Wednesday of each month at Jefferson Landing State Historic Site, located at 100 Jefferson St. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., and the program will begin at 7 p.m. Convenient parking is available in the lot next to the Lohman Building.

In addition to being held in person, this program will be livestreamed on the Missouri State Museum’s Facebook page.
