Bald Eagle Days

12/17/2022 | Roaring River State Park | Cassville, MO

Join us Saturdays Dec. 17, 2022, and Jan. 7, 2023, to learn all about bald eagles and search for these magnificent birds along Roaring River. When water sources freeze in the north, bald eagles migrate south to find food and water. With its constant flowing water and abundance of fish, Roaring River is an ideal location for eagles.

Stop by the Ozark Chinquapin Nature Center anytime between 2:30 and 5 p.m. to participate in eagle-themed crafts and activities. We will have several spotting scopes set up to look for eagles, although you are welcome to bring your own scopes, binoculars and cameras.

This program is free and open to the public. Dress appropriately for the weather, and bring water and snacks.

For more information, call the nature center at 417-847-3742.

Program Time: 2:30 p.m. - 5 p.m.
