Is your family curious about camping but not sure where to begin? Are you interested in sleeping under the stars but uncertain what to sleep on? Do you find yourself constantly craving s’mores but feel overwhelmed by the thought of building a fire? Come out to Robertsville State Park for an overnight camping experience with other beginners to learn about the basics of camping equipment, outdoor cooking, fire building, and more from Missouri State Parks staff!
This event is limited to 30 participants, and registration is required. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times, no exceptions. The recommended age for participants is 6 and above. Adults should be responsible for no more than three children at a time.
Upon registration, participants will be given a list of personal items to bring and an itinerary. Meals and equipment will be provided.
