Trail Improvements and NCCC Crew Recognition

7/23/2022 | Cuivre River State Park | Troy, MO

Join park staff and our Cuivre River chapter of the Backcountry Horsemen of Missouri to recognize the efforts of the AmeriCorps NCCC crew that has been at the park this summer to complete trail improvements. The goal of this project was to move heavily damaged and eroded sections of Connector 2 and a section of the Cuivre River Trail South Loop to improve riding and hiking experiences for trail users. The NCCC crew has also worked to clear trail corridor in other sections of the park.

We will hold a short ceremony at 11 a.m. to recognize and thank the NCCC crew members for their hard work on this project. Before the ceremony, stop by the Cuivre River Chapter's table and learn more about our chapter of the Backcountry Horsemen, meet the NCCC crew, or talk to park staff.

For more information about the recognition ceremony, contact the park office at 636-528-7247.
