The public is strongly encouraged to follow social-distancing guidelines and be proactive in protecting themselves and others.
Staff from Mark Twain State Park and Mark Twain Birthplace State Historic Site will be on hand to provide information about those facilities and Union Covered Bridge State Historic Site, and answer questions. The public is invited to share comments about the facilities and their operations.
Ice cream will be served at the meeting, and the meeting will be preceded by a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new disc golf course at Mark Twain State Park.

Input from the public is important to Missouri State Parks. These informational meetings, which are being held in all state parks and historic sites, help create a two-way communication. The meetings give staff the opportunity to let people know the current status and future plans for the park or site, and they offer visitors the opportunity to comment on the facilities.
