Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for Disc Golf Course

The public is invited to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Halley's Comet disc golf course at Mark Twain State Park. The event will take place in the park's Buzzard's Roost picnic area at 5 p.m. This is the first disc golf course built in a Missouri state park, providing yet another recreational opportunity for park visitors.

Guests are encouraging to stick around for a public meeting about Mark Twain State Park, Mark Twain Birthplace State Historic and Union Covered Bridge State Historic Site, which will be held at 7 p.m. at the campground amphitheater at Mark Twain State Park.
