Landing After Hours: Parasols to Petitions, Parades and Picket Lines

6/1/2022 | Missouri State Museum | Jefferson City, MO

From the Golden Lane to the not-so-fast lane for women's suffrage, join us at the landing for a presentation on the contributions of Missouri's advocates for women's right to vote. Learn how the cause was not unified but showed cracks along ideological and racial lines.

The Missouri State Museum's "Landing After Hours" program is held the first Wednesday of each month at Jefferson Landing State Historic Site, 100 Jefferson St. The Lohman classroom will open at 6:30 p.m., and the program will start at 7 p.m. Convenient parking is available in the lot next to the Lohman Building.

This program will also livestreamed on the Missouri State Museum’s Facebook page. Did you know? You don't have to have a Facebook account to view Facebook videos or live programs. Simply follow the link and enjoy: facebook.com/MissouriStateMuseum.
