Opening Day of Trout Season

Opening day of trout season will begin and end with sirens at the park. Each angler must have a state fishing permit, except those 15 years and younger. A daily trout tag can be purchased at the park store. Daily limit is four trout. To keep brown trout, the fish must be 15 inches or larger. There is no minimum length limit for rainbow trout. Only a single pole or rod may be used. Anglers who keep their trout must be identified with their name and address. Wading is permitted by anglers only.

Bennett Spring has three fishing zones, which are based on the type of bait used while fishing. A map and more information regarding fishing rules and regulations can be obtained at the park store, located in the fishing area.
