Canceled: First Day Hike

This event has been canceled.

Start at 8 a.m. and meet in the visitor center parking lot. Bathrooms will be available at the J. Huston Tavern on Main Street. We will bird around the town of Arrow Rock, including the Big Spring, Pierre a la Fleché Trail, and parts of the campground trail and River Landing Trail, for about 1.5 miles. Physical exertion will be moderate with some steep inclines and declines. We will end back at the visitor center around 11 a.m. Experienced and beginner birders welcome!

Participants should bring binoculars, water and snacks. For those who do not own binoculars, sets will be provided. Strollers are not recommended.
