Calling all disgusting and vile creatures –
Johnson’s Shut-Ins State Park is hosting its annual Halloween Happenings event. Join us dressed as your favorite movie character or supernatural creature, or in some other extravagant costume. This fun-filled night will include host games, interpretive tables, costume judging and more. We will end the night with an evening program about our most disgusting and vile creatures in Missouri, while keeping warm around a campfire. The event will be held in front of the Black River Center.
Registration starts at 3:30 p.m. Please remember to bring a flashlight for this exciting night at Johnson’s Shut-Ins State Park.
Event Schedule:
- 3:30 p.m. – registration for hayrides and costume judging.
- 4-6 p.m. – interpretive tables, games, hayrides and more.
- 6 p.m. – costume judging.
- 7:30 p.m. – evening campfire program.
