World Bird Sanctuary Raptor Awareness Program

9/18/2021 | Cuivre River State Park | Troy, MO

Cuivre River State Park is proud to host the World Bird Sanctuary's Raptor Awareness program, featuring birds of prey such as falcons, hawks, owls and vultures. Not only will you see different species of raptors, but you'll also learn a vulture's secret weapon and how to identify a bird of prey in the wild. Sit back and enjoy an up close view as some of the birds soar right over your head!

This program will take place in the large field at Camp Sherwood, located within Cuivre River State Park. Follow the "Special Event" directional signs when you enter the park. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on – visitors must be seated during the show. As always, this program is free and open to the public.

Registration is required, and space is limited. For more information or to register, contact the park office at 636-528-7247.
