Plein Air Art Event

8/7/2021 | First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site | St. Charles, MO

Join us for the Bicentennial Bash and Commemoration plein air art event! This is an all-medium event for teens and adults. Snacks and water will be provided while you create artwork of Main Street, the First State Capitol or the riverfront. Sign in at the First State Capitol at 9 a.m. and create until noon. Visitors will vote on their favorite piece, and some artwork may be for sale!

Awards will be given for:

  • Best of show – $100 cash prize.
  • First place – $75 cash prize.
  • Second place – $50 cash prize.
  • Third place – $25 cash prize.
  • Honorable mention – bicentennial T-shirt.
Event Time: 9 a.m. - noon
