Saturday, July 3

Birds of a Feather Namaste Together – 10 a.m.

The early bird gets the worm. Seize the day and come join us early birds to stretch and wriggle those limbs. We will meet at the monument field.

World Bird Sanctuary: Raptor Awareness – 4 p.m.

Join the park staff in welcoming the World Bird Sanctuary to the park. WBS will be providing a live Raptor Awareness program and will have live birds of prey. The program will be held in the monument field from 4-5 p.m. Everyone is encouraged to bring either a blanket to sit on or lawn chairs.

Independence Day, Sunday, July 4

Haiku and Explore – 10 a.m.

Let's get crafty, let nature inspire you, and try to haiku. Meet at the visitor center.

Big Babler Splash Out! – 2 p.m.

Join park staff for a water-filled afternoon of fun. We will have water balloons, super soakers, sprinklers and more. Wear clothes to get wet! Meet at the Guy Park Drive Trailhead.

Monday, July 5

Purr-fect Felines – 10 a.m.

Join us for a pouncing good time as we learn about Missouri’s native cats. Meet at the visitor center.
