Self-Guided Hike on the Katy Trail

12/18/2020 to 1/3/2021 | Katy Trail State Park

Welcome in the new year with a 3.2-mile self-guided hike on the Katy Trail. Take a short history hike of the trail, and learn how it came about. Learn about some of the plants, trees and creatures along the way. Start at the Rocheport Trailhead and head east. The self-guided hike signs will be available Dec. 18 to Jan. 3 to give everyone a chance to take the hike and social distance.

Call 573-449-7402 Tuesday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. or email RockBridgeMemorialStatePark@dnr.mo.gov to sign up for the hike. When you sign up, an electronic guide will be emailed to accompany you on the hike. Location points will be stationed along the way.

Starting Point: Rocheport Trailead (Katy Trail Mile Marker 178.3)
