Great American Campout

Friday, June 26
  • Social Distancing S’mores – 7 p.m. - 8 p.m. – Campground
    Park interpretive staff want you to enjoy s’mores during this Great American Campout while also social distancing. Staff will stop by each campsite – maintaining a safe distance – and bring visitors an individual s’more kit to enjoy at their site. The s’mores kits are provided by the Friends of Washington State Park.
Saturday, June 27
  • Petroglyph Tour – 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. – Petroglyph Site
    Join Washington State Park interpretive staff to learn how the park's history was "carved in stone" and see the amazing petroglyphs left behind.
  • Campground Safety – 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. – Campground Amphitheater
    Washington State Park interpretive staff and state park ranger staff will present on camping safety. Learn camping safety tips to make your next outdoor trip both fun and healthy! 

Please dress accordingly for this outdoor experience. Participants are encouraged to social distance from those not in their immediate group. All events are weather and conditions permitting and subject to change.
