Face coverings are encouraged when social-distancing measures are difficult to maintain.

Staff from the historic site will be on hand to provide information about the site and answer questions. The public is invited to share comments about the site and its operations.

To practice social distancing, the meeting will be an open house held in the backyard of the Strehly House and Winery, located at 132 W. Second St. The public will be able to enter though the building or the alley.

Input from the public is important to the department. These informational meetings, which are being held in all state parks and historic sites, help create a two-way communication. The meetings give staff the opportunity to let people know the current status and future plans for the park or site, and they offer visitors the opportunity to comment on the facilities.
