Summer has arrived, and we are ready to share it with you. The wildflowers are impressive, the grasses are growing, and the bison are enjoying them. Come out to Prairie State Park on July 11 for a guided bison hike.
Be prepared for a 2-mile hike over uneven terrain. Bringing water, snacks, a hat and sunscreen, and wearing sturdy shoes is recommended. Binoculars will be useful for looking at bison as well as other wildlife that we may see. Be sure to dress for the weather, but shorts are not recommended. Don’t forget your cameras!
