Friends of Hawn Association is having a gear swap meet in the shelter of the day-use area. Members of the public are invited to come to the park and sell or swamp camping gear among themselves.
Friends of Hawn will also be handing out Leave No Trace information to hikers to help visitors minimize their impact on the park.
