Lend a hand in cleaning up Clearfork Creek!
Volunteers will meet in the special-use camping area at 9 a.m. to remove litter from the creek. Park staff will be present throughout the duration of the event, but volunteers are not required to attend the entire time. Water shoes, work gloves and clothes that can get wet are recommended. Sunscreen and insect repellent will enhance protection. Water litter bags will be provided. Please bring your water bottle and lunch.
Large groups should register by calling the park office at 660-563-2463. Individuals and families may also register, although this is not necessary. Volunteer paperwork and parental consent forms will be available on the cleanup day. In case of bad weather, the event will be canceled and might be rescheduled, depending on temperatures. This is a family-friendly volunteer event.
