There are aliens among us! They may not have arrived from outer space, but they can still cause havoc. We will explore some of the plants and animals that have invaded our state – species such as emerald ash borers, wild hogs, sericea lespedeza, Japanese honeysuckle and Bradford pears. We will also discuss what you can do to stem the tide of these invaders.
Please bring your gloves and work clothes, as we will be getting our hands dirty battling some of these aliens. You should also bring a lunch, snacks and water. We recommend that you wear long pants, gloves, sturdy shoes and insect repellent. To register for this event, call 417-843-6711 by July 13.
