Volunteer Day

Washington State Park is seeking volunteers to assist with the spring Volunteer Day. Volunteers will participate in stewardship and cleanup projects within the park. Registration begins at 8 a.m. for volunteers (registration is required for all participating volunteers) at Shelter #2/Big River Day-Use Area. Projects will take place from 9 a.m. to noon, and then from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.  Volunteers can participate in the morning, afternoon or both volunteer sessions. A lunch will be provided for all volunteers at noon  at the shelter by the Friends of Washington State Park. Volunteers age 14 and younger require parental signature at time of registration and require a chaperone at all times. Volunteers age 15 to 17 require parental signature at time of registration.
