First Day Hike - Scenery and Ecology in the Wild Area

1/1/2019 | Rock Bridge Memorial State Park | Columbia, MO

Hike trails in the Gans Creek Wild Area (moderate, 2 miles) to view the scenery from the bluffs and to learn about the ecology and management of glades and woodlands we'll visit. Hike one-way from Devil's Icebox parking lot to the special-use area (SUA). Drivers of vehicles will be shuttled back to get their vehicles and return to the SUA to pick up their passengers.

This event is free. Reservations are required because space is limited. Call 573-449-7400. This hike is limited to those ages 8 and up. No dogs. This trail is not stroller accessible. Footwear should be sturdy. To find out if canceled, call 573-449-7400.
