Trail Day on the Katy and Rock Island!

6/2/2018 | Katy Trail State Park

Join us in celebrating National Trails Day! The day is organized by the American Hiking Society and is the country's largest celebration of trails. This 1.5-mile hike will allow participants to enjoy a partial section of the Rock Island Spur in Windsor.

You will have an opportunity to learn about the trail's creation and the Rock Island and Katy Trail's history and operations. You may also see some wildlife and will have the opportunity to ask questions during the hike. Please bring a water bottle.

You can bring your pet, but make sure you have a leash. At 4 p.m., participants will depart from the Windsor Katy Trail and Rock Island Spur trailhead.

Hike time: 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

This event is being held in conjunction with National Trails Day. For more information about National Trails Day and to see other events being held in Missouri State Parks, click here.
