6/2/2018 | Katy Trail State Park
Join us in celebrating National Trails Day! The day is organized by the American Hiking Society and is the country's largest celebration of trails. This 1.5-mile hike will allow participants to enjoy a partial section of the Rock Island Spur in Windsor.
You will have an opportunity to learn about the trail's creation and the Rock Island and Katy Trail's history and operations. You may also see some wildlife and will have the opportunity to ask questions during the hike. Please bring a water bottle.
You can bring your pet, but make sure you have a leash. At 4 p.m., participants will depart from the Windsor Katy Trail and Rock Island Spur trailhead. Click here to read the news release.
Hike time: 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
