The Skin You are In: Animal Coverings

12/16/2017 | Prairie State Park | Mindenmines, MO

This program will focus on what covers an animal and how it helps animals survive. Bright colors, camouflage, shells and scales for protection, skin that they can breathe through, and more will be covered. Draw an animal with a skin that is appropriate for its habitat. Are animal coverings bone, keratin, chitin, skin, fur or perhaps a mixture? Come and find out!
