Canceled: First Day Hike

This hike has been canceled due to predicted low temperatures.

Start the new year with a hike up to the castle ruins, carriage house and the water tower. A short program of the Snyder Legacy and of the once thriving town of Gunter will be given at the castle lawn. This trail is of moderate difficulty as it is 0.40 miles long, contains some sections of steep grade, there is a possibility of slippery conditions, and there is a bluff next to trail. Strollers, pets (on leash), and visitors of all ages are welcome to join. It is recommended that you wear sturdy footwear and bring water. Please call 573-346-2986 to reserve your spot. In case you need to cancel, please call and let us know at least one day in advance.

Hike time: 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Meeting Location: Lower Parking Lot
