Friday
  • 7 p.m. Slithering Snakes Program – Campground playground area
    Learn how to identify snakes in the state of Missouri as well as discover just what roles snakes play in the ecosystem. Get all of your snake questions answered, as well as make your own snake to take home!
Saturday
  • 10 a.m.  Who was here? – Campground playground area
    Animals leave behind lots of clues that can be used to figure out who paid that spot a visit. Try your hand at identifying one of these clues – tracks! You will also get the opportunity to make your own tracks of some of the animals that you might see if you went exploring in the park.
  • 9:30 p.m. Night Hike – Near the playground in the campground
    Come along on a night hike to experience nature with your senses. The hike will be approximately ½-mile long. Be prepared to walk in wet grass if it is dewy.
Sunday
  • 9 a.m. Sun, Sand and Stories – Beach
    Com to the beach for some fun and relaxation as you enjoy activities related to the three S’s. Wear old clothes or ones you don’t mind getting dirty. Don forget the fourth S – sunblock!
