Archaeology Day

9/9/2017 | Washington State Park | De Soto, MO

The park will host its annual Archaeology Day in collaboration with the Three Rivers chapter of the Missouri Archaeological Society at the Big River Day-Use Area. Children's activities include making petroglyph necklaces, corn grinding and other crafts. There will also be flint knapping demonstrations and atlatl demonstrations throughout the day. A petroglyph tour will also be held at the petroglyph site at 2 p.m.
