Archaeology Day

9/9/2017 | Washington State Park | De Soto, MO

The park will host its annual Archaeology Day in collaboration with the Three Rivers chapter of the Missouri Archaeological Society at the Big River Day Use Area.  Children's activities include making petroglyph necklaces, corn grinding and other crafts.  There will also be flint knapping demonstrations and atlatl demonstrations throughout the day.  A petroglyph tour will also be held at the petroglyph site at 2 p.m. Click here to read the news release.
