Grassland Trail Wayside Panel Dedication and Birding Hike

4/23/2017 | Rock Bridge Memorial State Park | Columbia, MO

The Audubon Society of Missouri (ASM) donated an interactive interpretive panel highlighting the multi-year partnership between ASM and Missouri State Parks. On the panel, park visitors can quickly access the park's bird checklist created by experienced birders through a QR code. Along with the bird checklist, visitors can find up-to-date bird sightings for the park and the surrounding area. After the dedication of the interpretive panel, ASM and Columbia Audubon Society will lead a guided bird hike on Grassland Trail. The event is free and open to the public. Spring migration will be in full swing and birdwatchers are encouraged to bring binoculars.

Event time: 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.
