Hike to Hidden Treasures of Rock Bridge - Shooting Star Wildflowers

Help celebrate the park's 50th anniversary by participating on one or all of these hikes held the first Saturday of each month. Visit different parts of the park and learn about the park’s founding, history and nature. Also, help care for the park through a short service project.

Shooting Star Wildflower Hike: Enjoy the beauty and variety of spring wildflowers in the woodlands of the Gans Creek Wild Area. Park naturalist Roxie Campbell will share information about wildflowers and read from the 1891 diary of Edward Jacbos. See shooting star flowers and the view from shooting star bluff. This hike will be about 2 miles all on-trail.

This hike is free. Reservations are required because space is limited. When you call (573-449-7400), you will be given driving directions. This hike is recommended for ages 8 years and up. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Prefer no dogs.
