Museum After Hours: Animals of the Great War

6/7/2017 | Missouri State Museum | Jefferson City, MO

Join the Missouri State Museum as we explore the animal heroes, soldiers and companions of World War I.  Learn about the impact animals had on combat and morale.  Also discover why Missouri mules were in high demand “over there.” The program will be held in the Missouri State Museum's History Hall, located in the east wing of the Missouri State Capitol. Click here to read the news release.

The program continues the museum's ongoing series, "Museum After Hours," held the first Wednesday of each month.  In addition to the program, the museum's galleries will be open until 9 p.m.
