Jefferson Landing Backyard Concert Series

Jefferson Landing launches its second annual Backyard Concert Series on May 20. Enjoy monthly performances by local artist who put a new twist on Missouri music traditions. These are "BYOC" (bring your own chair) events. Grab your family, lawn chairs and a picnic supper and join us on the Lohman Building lawn.

The lineup for 2017 includes:

May 20: Ozark Music and Tales

  • Van Colbert (banjo), Marideth Sisco (storyteller) and friends will treat you to an evening of traditional Ozark music and tales. This event is co-sponsored by the Missouri Folk Arts program.

June 17: Rose Ridge

  • Rose Ridge refers to their collaboration as running with scissors, making and faking their favorite tunes. Join them for an evening as they bring a mix of folk, blues and Americana to the Lohman stage. 

July 15: TBA

 Aug. 12: Ironweed

  • Ironweed brings you only the finest in bluegrass, vintage country and good ol’ hillbilly twang. The band features champion, Kelly Jones on fiddle, Joe Wieneman on mandolin, Jane Accurso on guitar and lead vocals, Dierik Leonhard on banjo, and Matthew Bossaller on slap bass.
Concert times: 7 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.
